Music videos that influenced our shots for the Prelim Task

The band Twenty Twenty helped us with deciding which shots we would use on the day of our shoot, they are similar to the band and track we got given too shoot on the day. So this helped us with making a good decision on a list of shots that would work well on capturing the band at a sharp and fast pace. We really liked that panning shot of the whole band that moves at a fast pace and then cuts to close ups of the singer or instruments being played.

Panic at the Disco helped us with deciding the right angles for our close up shots of the lead singer and how we would change from different angles and close ups from a wide shot. We decided it had to be quick cuts to get the feel for the quick beat in the track we had been given.

We are Scientists, looked at high angled shots looking over the top of the band or above the head of the lead singer. This made us think of how we could use a high angle shot. We decided that this would work well on trying to capture the drummer during the music break in our part of the track. This would make us see the band in a different perspective.
